Fashion: Versace LIVE

About an houre the Haute Couture show from Versace will start in Paris. You can watch it live at the site of Nowfashion. I will try to be on time to see it, would be the first time for me. Ofcourse my dream is to enjoy a big fashionshow in real. I also have for you the Summer/Spring pre collection for next year from Versace. As I always I only pick out the ones I like, which are mostly black or very special in design. If you want to see them all, Vogue.uk is a very good site for this.

Fashion: Alexander McQueen RTW

People, good news! My blog has over the 80 000 pageviews since I started it. That's really a lot, because from January this year I really started being active on my blog. I should really organize something when I reach the 100 000. Someone suggestions?
Now about fashion. I was watching the fashionshows from this year and suddenly I saw a collection from Alexander McQueen I didn't see before. It's the Fall/Winter 2013 collection, also a Ready To Wear. So I'm a little bit confused, because the last show I shared was also the RTW. But maybe that's the other part of the collection they couldn't show because of the pregnancy. It has the same elements, so that could be possible.

Fashion: Bridalwear Vera Wang

Tonight I'll go to the wedding of someone I know since I was a little baby. My family and I went on vacation to Spain and France with them several times. Even I don't have that much contact with her anymore, she still has a place in my heart. I was also very glad she invited me after all those years.
Now I'm in the wedding sphere I looked up Vera Wang. She's very known from her special bridal dresses. She dares to use different colours, yes even black! What you wear? I would like to wear a combination of black and red. Black because that's just my colour and red for the romantic.

TAG: My life in materials

On a community site for girls I made a text about myself by using fabrics. Each fabric or material I love to use or wear stands for my character. If you're looking for a tag, you can copy this one I made myself.

Velvet
- In the medieval the nobility used this soft fabric a lot. This dark period inspires me especially in my gothic style. The softness shows that I like to be treated in a gentle way.

Lace
- It has a complicated pattern, so am I. But when you come closer you can look through it. When you make an effort to get me know better you will know how I am. Real Bruges or Venetian lace is made by hand. With this I'm saying that I realize things with my hands.

Chiffon
- This transparant fabric falls very flexible and swings around. As child I did ballet and I still have this elegant way of moving. When I'm talking full of passion, I use my arms and make those typical Italian moves.

Leather
- Next the elegance I also like something with a tougher side. Especially in my outfits you will see this. Real leather is actually hard, and so am I in using words and saying my opinion. But with the right treatments I can turn by and act much more emotional and soft.

Silver
- Somehow this material let me think about the moon and stars. I'm a night person and enjoy less from the sun (gold) than a normal human. And since I'm a winter type (in fashion), silver fits me better too.

Spikes and studs
- Watch out if you dare to hurt my loved ones or me. I'll jump immediately in the defensive and come up for people who deserve it.

Feathers
- Light as a feather, they say. And yes that's how my body is built. That's a positive thing to be a model, sadly that's also the only thing.

Gemstones
- Every stone is unique, and so am I. Well at least that's how I want to be. I have my own clothingstyle and way of thinking about this world.

Fashion: Marlies Dekkers

To come in the summer mood I searched for you the new swimwear from Marlies Dekkers. I'll do my best to continue this week with more swimwear labels and their collection for this summer. I'm thinking about Sapph, Victoria's Secret, Calzedonia, Agent Provocateur,... If you have a favorite bikini label, leave this in a comment! I have to admit that the models look more like lingerie in stead of bikini's. Especially the black one doesn't fit in the swimwear collection.

Fashion: Soon Haute Couture week

While the fashionweeks for the menswear are busy, the designers are preparing the shows for the Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2013 collection in Paris. That's my favorite collection, so I'm really curious what the top designers will bring us. Ofcourse I will share you everyday the latest catwalk pictures. But for those who are interested, I'll give you the dates.

Personal: Working

Since wednesday I started a new job. I work now in As Adventure, a big shop with all camping and travelling items. There's also a fashion part where I help sometimes, but most of the time I'm the cashier. It's not really my kind of product, but my colleagues are very friendly and show interest. Though years ago we always went on vacation in the mountains on camping. So it's not that unknown for me. Who wants to see some little Sharon pictures?

Personal: My proud

Today was my last day in school and they opened their doors this evening to show all our works. I was very proud to see my 3 pieces I made this year, my first year with no experience before. I hope I can later say "this was my first proud, but now I'm better". Ofcourse I already have idea's to make something this summer. Again a dress, but more for the summer with a wide and jaunty skirt.
